Sunday 11th January 2009 - Haselor, Walcote, Temple Grafton and Exhall
Grade: M1 (explained here)
Info: This is an 8.5 mile walk over gently rolling hills and long escarpments. The walk offers panoramic views through fine villages and woodland. The area is rich in history from pagan to Roman.

Sunday 18th January 2009 - Morton-In-Marsh and the surrounds

Info: An 8 mile walk taking in the Cotswold villages of Bourton-on-th-Hill and Longborough, Sezincote House and the landscape around.

Sunday 25th January 2009 - Bredon Hill

Info: This 10.5 mile walk starts in Ashton Under Hill by the church with the tower, just of the A46 and takes you up Bredon Hill via Wychavon Way, then through the villages of Bredon's Norton, Kemerton and Overbury,

Sunday 1st February 2009 - Stanway & Snowshill from Stanton

Info: The Cotswolds is an area renowned for its attractive and historic villages scattered across undulating hills. This 8 mile walk includes three such villages with some interesting buildings connected by very pleasant rural landscapes.
Start Point: 10:30am Start is the village of Stanton situated a couple of miles south of Broadway just off the B4632 road to Winchcombe. There is a small car park adjacent to the cricket ground Click here for start point map

Sunday 8th February 2009 - Wardington & Culworth

Info: 9 Mile walk beginning at Wardington, out to Culworth via Thorpe Mandeville. After stopping for lunch, return to Wardington via Edgcote, passing the edge of the battlefield. Mud could be abundant on parts of this walk if it has been raining!

Sunday 15th February 2009 - My Kingdom for a Horse...

Info: This 8 mile walk sets off from the Bosworth Battlefield Visitor Centre ( post code: CV13 0AD), which is believed to be the site of the historic battle that ended the rule of Richard III. The walk is mainly through gently undulating Leicestershire countryside and woodland but will also lead us through Market Bosworth and along the Ashby Canal towpath. We will finish by walking through the historic battlefields where Richard III is alleged to have been killed.

Sunday 22nd February 2009 - Welford on Avon, Barton & Dorsington

Info: An 8 mile walk around Welford on Avon, Barton & Dorsington - takes in shakespeare villages, riverside walking and views across the vale of Evesham. May include a few muddy patches.

Sunday 1st March 2009 - Secrets of the Warwickshire Countryside
Grade: E1 (explained here)
Info: 9 Miles. Explore little-known pathways and bridleways of Haseley, Beausale, Hatton and Shrewley on a hike around some of the loveliest countryside in the UK - and it's right on our doorstep too! The walk will be mostly through fields, woodland and country lanes. As some of it will be on bridleways, it's likely to be muddy, and will, of course, end up near a local pub
Start Point: 10:30 The meeting point will be at the back of the Falcon Inn car park, on the right hand side of the A4177 when you get to Hatton (coming from Leamington / Warwick).

Sunday 8th March 2009 - Bretforton to Dovers Hill and back for a late lunch

Info: Any easy 10 miles taking in the villages of Willersley, Western-sub-Edge and Honeybourne. Good views will be available after a little effort to reach the top of Dovers Hill. Then we make our way back to The Fleece at Bretforton for late lunch/early dinner that you will need to pre order. By the way it also just happens to be my Birthday ! No not that one quite !! Update I have now reccied the walk (end of January) and I would not recommend trainers for this walk as there is quite a bit of mud and a couple of short ploughed field crossings. Please bring yourselves a liight snack for the top of Dovers hill. Depending on the size of the group we should be back at the pub for food about 4 to 4:30ish

Sunday 29th March 2009 - Warwickshire 20 Mile Challenge
Grade: D1 (explained here)
Info: Starting at Newbold Comyn. Leamington this route takes in Offchurch, Stareton, Stoneleigh, Kenilworth and Warwick. If you don't fancy doing the whole loop feel free to start or stop at the mid point of Kenilworth and use public buses to get back to the start point.
Start Point: 10am prompt PLEASE NOTE clocks go forward Sunday morning (you need to get up an hour earlier) and the earlier start to so we can finish in light (please bring a head torch!) Click here for start point map
